“I remember bathing the Fond Petite river and the Fond D’or beach in Dennery.  I loved bathing in the mouth of the river where the fresh and salt water converged.  The ‘des dlo’, they called it.  Some believe that it has medicinal purposes.  Those were very good days.”

“It’s been over 20 years since I am living here.  Been through many struggles and survived. NY has been good to me.  I can’t complain.  However, Saint Lucia will always be home. I’m looking forward to returning home for good in 10 years so that I may contribute to the Saint Lucian society as a mental health practitioner.  I have heard too many stories of how mentally challenged people are treated and I know that I can help make a difference in sweet Saint Lucia.”
