“I grew up in Fond St. Jacques. Back then, it was all about the community and the people. It was like one big family. It is rather sad that a lot of us were forced to leave the community and settle in other places after Tomas.”
“Tomas was a night to remember. Every thing just happened so fast. I went to bed that night to wake up the following day with everything looking totally different. Fond St. Jacques has never been and could never look the same since that dreadful day. The hardest part for me though is that I can’t go to my granny’s house again for coffee on a morning.”
