“My passion has always been education specifically Early Childhood Education. I have always admired and had a keen interest in the growth and development of children. This admiration influenced me to begin a teaching career at a Special Education School where I was further exposed to children and their individual needs.”
“After completing an Associates Degree in Teacher Education I was transferred to a Secondary School. Although I enjoyed working with teenagers, there was a dire need to return to Early Childhood Education. As a result, I pursued a Bachelors Degree in early Childhood Education with UWI Open Campus and was finally able to convince my employer to transfer me to an Early Childhood Institution. Working at this level can be challenging at times due to various factors but with the drive and intrinsic motivation that I possess I believe that I have made and will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of my students.”
