“My mother sent for me in my teenage years with the hopes of giving me a better life and better opportunity. It’s been fourteen years since I’m living here. I like it and have no regrets of the move and my mom’s decision. I will say though that despite my address, Saint Lucia will ALWAYS be home. I am from Desruiseaux and I really miss those sweet mangoes.”
