“I don’t like my natural hair.  It’s not beautiful and so I almost always have it covered and would never leave the house without my weave.  However, I recently took my weave out so that I can re-do it for my birthday in October.  Ironically, since my weave is out, I have gotten so many compliments on how I look.  I have never gotten as many compliments with weave as I have now gotten without it.  I am guessing that I look beautiful without it.  I actually feel more confident too.”
