Amy

“I was about 10 years old when I started selling cassava bread with my mom by the Castries market. Twelve years later I was making and selling it on my own.”
“I don’t plant the cassava because the labor is too demanding. I tried it but planting cassava was a lot of hard work. So, I buy the cassava root, and prepare farine and cassava bread.”
“I make three different flavors namely salt, sweet and raisins/cherries. I prepare my cassava on a Thursday for sale on a Friday in Castries.”
