“I don’t normally walk this street however, I am rushing to the market to get some missing items for a catering job tomorrow. Catering is my side job. I am a cosmetologist by profession. Hairdressing has not been as financially fulfilling as I would like. This may be so because of the ‘going natural’ craze and also because of the number of hairdressers springing up all over. I have always liked the kitchen so, I did a cake baking and decorating course with NRDF and later I did a pastry course with NELU. I thoroughly enjoy catering just like hairdressing but, I must say that I have found my passion in the kitchen and of course, it now pays the bills.”
