“A lot of people have been asking me since when I’ve been writing. Well, I have been writing since I was 9 years old. I have always written. If you look into copies of the Voice Newspaper of 30 to 40 years ago, you will find poems by little Dawn French. What is new to me now is publishing. In this century, self-publishing is much easier. You can put your books on Amazon, Barnes & Nobles and CreateSpace to name a few. A lot of these places can host your books and this has given me the freedom to publish my books.”
“I would advise young writers to write. Just write. It does not matter what. If you have a story, write it down. Worry about the format, the grammar and the spelling afterwards. Just get it down on the paper.”
