“My favorite singer Ella Fitzgerald said Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong. I have been teaching at the Saint Lucia School of Music for the past three years. I can truly say that this is exactly what I was born to do. To perform and to teach! When I was asked as a small child what I wanted to be when I grew up I said I wanted to be a singer and I w anted to teach music. A lot of people told me that making music my career choice was foolish and that I would never get a job. I was fortunate enough to have parents that told me to do what I loved to do…to sing. Now I look back and smile and say I am doing exactly what I wanted to do with my life. Music is a powerful thing and a universal language spoke by people around the world, and I get to be apart of that. And that is pretty awesome.”
